Recognition of leading women in the field of cancer diagnosis and treatment at the opening ceremony of the 7th International Congress of Clinical Oncology
The 7th International Clinical Oncology Congress started on Thursday morning, 2 February 2023, with the presence of international and national experts in the conference hall of the Olympic Hotel.
In this three-day congress, experts will present the latest scientific findings in the field of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
In the opening ceremony of the congress, Dr. Yasha Makhdomi, the head of Radio Oncology Association, welcomed the guests and expressed his hope that this conference will bring positive scientific achievements for the country’s medical community. Dr. Raham Salek, scientific secretary of the congress, also introduced some of the programs of this three-day congress.
In the opening ceremony, among the leading women in the field of cancer diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Salmanian, the first female assistant and specialist in the field of radio-oncology, Dr. Hemti, the only female member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Radio-Oncology, Dr. Amozgar Hashemi, the first female full professor in the field of radio-oncology, Dr. Qalibafian, the first woman to provide specialized radiotherapy services to children with cancer, and Dr. Shahid Sales, the first person in the field of radio-oncology, were recognized in terms of research activities in the scientific measurement system.
It should be noted that the 7th International Congress and the 17th Annual Conference of Clinical Oncology will be held from 2 to 4 february at the Olympic Hotel.
